Contains the active ingredient pholcodine, which reduces coughing in people with dry, unproductive coughs.
As well as being frustrating, a dry cough can cause your throat to become sore. Covonia allows you to control your irritating cough, helping prevent throat pain.
How to use
Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.
Shake the bottle.
- Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: Take one or two 5ml spoonfuls three or four times a day.
- Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
- Do not give to children under 12 unless your doctor tells you to.
- Do not take with other cough and cold medicines.
If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

- Also contains amongst other ingredients: Ethanol, Glycerol (E422), Sodium Parahydroxybenzoates (E215, E217, E219), Amaranth Dye (E123), Alcohol 1.2 vol%

Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
