Product Information
Provides effective relief from the burning pain and irritation of cystitis. Containing sodium citrate, Cymalon helps to neutralise urine acidity during an attack of cystitis. Cymalon comes in a pack of six cranberry flavour sachets.
Dosage instructions
- Mix the contents of the sachet with a (200 ml) glass of water and drink immediately.
- This is a 2-day course of treatment.
- Adult women: 1 sachet 3 times a day for 2 days, as required.
- This medicine is not to be used by men or children.
Warnings or Restrictions
Do not exceed the stated dose.
Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do not take Cymalon if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, a history of kidney disease or are on a low-salt diet.
If symptoms persist after the 2-day course is completed, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Do not repeat the treatment without medical advice.
Taking other medicines
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking:
- lithium for manic depression
- methenamine for urinary infections
- other medicines, as these may be affected by taking this medicine
