Product summary

Anusol Cream's triple action helps relieve the swelling and irritation of internal and external piles (haemorrhoids) and other minor conditions such as anal itching and fissures.

Active ingredients

Anusol Cream contains the following active ingredients:

• Zinc oxide, an astringent that soothes and protects raw areas and helps reduce swelling. It also acts as an antiseptic.
• Balsam Peru, which is mildly antiseptic, has a protective action on sore areas, and can help with healing.
• Bismuth Oxide, an astringent and antiseptic which protects raw and irritated tissue around the anal area.

Anusol Cream has a vanishing base formulation, meaning that it is rapidly absorbed and prevents bacterial growth, which can promote healing.

Anusol Cream can be used following anorectal surgery.

How to use

• Adults over 18 and the elderly: Apply Anusol Cream sparingly to the affected area at night, in the morning, and after each bowel movement.
• Do NOT take orally.

• Active ingredients per 100g: Zinc oxide 10.75g, Bismuth oxide 2.14g, Balsam Peru 1.8g
• Also contains Glycerol monostearate, Liquid paraffin, Propylene glycol, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan stearate, Titanium dioxide (E171), Menthyl hydroxybenzoate, Propyl hydroxybenzoate and Water

Warnings and restrictions

If there is significant bleeding, this product may not be suitable for you. In this case, you should seek advice from a doctor.

• Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to Anusol Cream or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
• Speak to your doctor if have rectal bleeding which has not been diagnosed as piles.
• Anusol Cream should not be used by people under 18 years.

Taking other medicines

This product is unlikely to interact with other medication. However, please speak to your pharmacist or doctor if you are using any other treatments for the bowels.
