Enterosgel® is an innovative intestinal adsorbent (enterosorbent), developed for binding toxins, harmful substances, pathogens and allergens in the gastrointestinal tract and their elimination from the body.

***How to use***

- Adults: 15 g (1 sachet or 1 tablespoon) 3 times per day (45 g per day). 
- Children: older than 5 years: 10–15 g (2–3 teaspoons) 3 times per day (30–45 g per day)
- Children 1–5 years: 5–10 g (1–2 teaspoons) 3 times per day (15–30 g per day)
- Children under 1 year of age: 1.7 g (1/3 teaspoon) before feeding, up to 6 times per day (up to 10 g per day). 

A single dose of Enterosgel® may be mixed before use with breast milk, water, juice or semi-liquid baby food (in a ratio of 1:3).

- Enterosgel® can be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

- Enterosgel® is based on organic mineral: 70% polymethylsiloxane polyhydrate, 30% purified water.

***Taking other medicines***

This product is unlikely to interact with other medication however please speak to your pharmacist or doctor if you are using any other medication.  This is because there may be a potential possibility that it may affect the absorption of some medicines if taken at the same.  

They may advise you to space the dosing at differing times to reduce the likelihood of this happening.

Contains active ingredients to reduce diarrhoea and dehydration. Dioralyte Relief sachets contain essential electrolytes to help maintain your body wellness, as well as rich starch to add bulk to your stools, for treating diarrhoea.

**How to use**

***Adults (including the elderly) and children over 1 year:***

- ONE sachet mixed in 200ml of water after each loose stool 
- Up to 5 sachets each day, for up to 3 to 4 days
- Do not take more than 5 sachets in 24 hours. 

***Babies aged 3 months to 1 year (to be given under the guidance of a doctor):***
  
- The amount given depends on how much the baby weighs.
- The usual daily dose is 150–200 ml of the drink for each kg of the baby’s weight.  
- This can be given over 24 hours.  
- Give half the drink during the first 8 hours and the other half during the next 16 hours.   
- Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure how much to give. 
- If your baby is being sick, you can give 5-10 ml (one or two teaspoons) every 5 minutes.
- This can be gradually increased until they are able to drink normally. 


***Ingredients***

- The active substances are pre-cooked rice powder, sodium citrate, sodium chloride and potassium chloride.
- The other ingredients are hypromellose, aspartame, blackcurrant flavour 501017 or raspberry flavouring 611417E, purified water and ethanol 96%.

**Warnings or restrictions**

If you are suffering from intestinal obstruction, diabetes, kidney or liver failure, or are on a low- potassium or sodium diet, ask your doctor before use.

Infants under 2 years should be seen by a doctor as soon as possible.

TEST Imodium Plus Comfort Tablets (6 Tablets)

**Product summary**

Imodium Plus Comfort Tablets is a medicine used to treat sudden, short-lived (acute) attacks of diarrhoea and calm additional abdominal discomfort such as cramps, wind and bloating. 

The tablets contain loperamide hydrochloride, which helps reduce diarrhoea by slowing down an overactive bowel, helping the body to absorb water and salts from the bowel. 

The tablets also contain simeticone, which is an anti-foaming agent that breaks up trapped wind in the bowel that causes cramps and bloating. 

This medicine is for use in adults and children aged 12 years and over.

***Dosage information:***

- Adults over 18 years old: Swallow two tablets initially, followed by one tablet after each loose bowel movement. 
- Children and young adults (12 to 18 years): Swallow one tablet initially, followed by one tablet after each loose bowel movement. 
- Do not take more than 4 tablets in any 24 hour period. 
- Do not take for more than 48 hours. 
- If symptoms persist for more than 48 hours talk to your doctor

***Ingredients***

- The active ingredients are: Loperamide hydrochloride (2 mg per caplet) and Simeticone (measured as 125 mg dimeticone per caplet).
- The other ingredients are: Calcium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous, microcrystalline cellulose, acesulfame potassium, artificial vanilla flavour (includes propylene glycol, maltodextrin and benzyl alcohol), sodium starch glycolate (type A) and stearic acid.


**Warnings and restrictions**

If you have AIDS and your stomach becomes swollen, stop taking the tablets immediately and contact your doctor.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist:

- if you suffer from liver disease
- if your diarrhoea lasts for more than 48 hours
- if you have severe diarrhoea, as your body loses more fluid, sugars and salts than normal
- if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant. 

This medicine may make you feel dizzy, tired or sleepy. If affected do not drive or operate machinery. 

Imodium Plus Comfort Tablets only treat the symptoms of diarrhoea. In some cases, the cause of your diarrhoea may require treatment. 

If symptoms persist or worsen, please contact your doctor. 

When you have diarrhoea, your body can lose large amounts of fluids and salts. 

You will need to replace the fluid by drinking more liquid than usual. 

Ask your pharmacist about powders (oral rehydration therapy) which replace fluids and salts lost during diarrhoea.

***Taking other medicines***

Talk to a doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, including: 

- quinidine (used to treat abnormal heart rhythms or malaria) 
- itraconazole or ketoconazole (antifungal medicines) 
- gemfibrozil (used to treat high cholesterol) 
- ritonavir (used to treat HIV infection and AIDS) 
- desmopressin (used to control thirst and urine production in patients with diabetes insipidus)
