Theraflu Expressmax Nighttime provides serious relief of all your cough and cold symptoms, including body aches and pains, sore throat, headache, nasal and sinus congestion, runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose, itchy eyes, cough, and fever.

Dosage instructions

Use the dosing cup provided.

Adults and children 12 years of age or older: 30 mL every 4 hours while symptoms persist. Do not take more than 5 doses (150 mL) in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor.

Ingredients

• Active: acetaminophen - 650 mg (pain reliever / fever reducer), diphenhydramine HCl - 25 mg (antihistamine / cough suppressant), phenylephrine HCl - 10 mg (nasal decongestant).
• Inactive: acesulfame potassium, anhydrous citric acid, edetate disodium, FD&C blue no. 1, FD&C red no. 40, flavors, glycerin, maltitol solution, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate.

Each 30 mL contains: potassium 35 mg, sodium 17 mg.

Warnings and Restrictions

Read all product packaging and labels carefully prior to use.

• This product contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if you take more than 4,000 mg in 24 hours, use with other medications containing acetaminophen, or take with more than 3 alcoholic drinks per day.
• Acetaminophen may cause severe skin reactions.
• If sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting consult a doctor promptly.
• Do not take if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson’s disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication.
• Ask a doctor before using if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, have asthma, diabetes, thyroid disease, glaucoma, difficulty in urination due to an enlarged prostate, have breathing problems, are taking sedatives or tranquilizers or the blood thinner warfarin.
• Drowsiness may occur. Use caution when operating machinery.
• If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before use.
